Jeffry has over a decade of clinical experience working with substance use and co-occurring disorders. He is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Florida and New York. Since graduating from The University of Central Florida with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in clinical social work, he has been committed to implementing a holistic approach to psychotherapy which encompasses addressing and healing various components of each client’s life.
Jeffry has training and certification in EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing), cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing. His employment history includes working as a primary therapist at Inter-Care and Head of Admissions at New York Center For Living, both esteemed outpatient agencies in Manhattan where he worked with clients in intensive outpatient, early recovery, and aftercare programs.
He also worked in high-end inpatient settings in Florida including The Recovery Village and Lakeview Health. Here he gained experience with crisis stabilization, interventions, individualized treatment planning, and individual, group, and family therapy. As a passionate musician and athlete, exploring creativity and fitness have been major focal points throughout his career. Jeffry joined Ascendant in the summer of 2021.
